Guys, I'd be grateful if somebody could post or PM me a few pictures of the late Series II aluminum shock hats that go on top of the rear shocks and springs. I've searched all over and can't find any posted.
Thank you!

NC's had aluminum top mounts, but they're shorter and lack the provision for the extra brace on top, but they could be lengthened to suit an RX8. My 2010 had steel top mounts, so if they did make a change, it'll be pretty rare.
Thanks for the information. That's what I noticed too. I think i'm getting some bad info from a vendor that's kind of ruining my suspension upgrade and costing me track time.
I read somewhere on here that TeamRX8 used those NC top hats, but welded an aluminum tube in there to make them match the RX8 length, otherwise you'll get less bump travel in the rear (but more rebound).
Will the series 1 engine mounts work on the series 2?
Yes, technically for modification or updated Engine Mounts the use of 'should' be the other way around, use Series 2 engine mounts on a Series 1.
But yes S1 Mounts will install and work on a 2009 MY, there were some minor changes to the Alloy Engine Mount Brackets, but that should not create any install issues with S1 engine mounts on a S2.
Okay I got the information I needed from goodwin. Just going to machine a new spring perch spacer instead of using the delrin they send with and use oem steel hats. Now we just twiddle our thumbs till Ohlins ships them out.
Sakebomb makes them if your time is valuable, along with the bolt and spacers you will need to keep the springs from rubbing on the shock body. Note you have to level and flatten the base of the steel hats as they are neither (being a stamped piece).
