Miles - About 65,800 and going up, I drive 3-4 times a week still. I’ve enjoyed this car for the last 5 years and now it’s time to move on.
My plan is to build up my first gen so my REW swapped RX-8 needs a new home.
I’m in no rush to sell it so don’t try to low ball me… also don’t waste my time and I won’t waste yours.
Motor was refreshed at 60,000 with new EFR 8374iwg turbo install. There were no issues with the motor I just wanted to freshen up with the new turbo install.
Brief description…..
13B-REW block, stock ports cleaned up, Modified RX-8 front cover, Modified FD water pump, all RX-8 harness & electronics intact and work as stock. YES A/C and Cruise Control work too.
Adaptronic PnP RX-8 ECU. Single turbo conversion w/ Front mount intercooler. Xcessive Lower intake manifold with J-Spec Upper Intake Manifold & modded Greddy elbow w/BHR TB spacer, RX-8 throttle Body. RA Classic Apex seals and Atkins soft seals used when I refreshed the engine.
Around 300ish at 12psi, with ultimate spool, these EFR turbos are the BEST!!
The Adaptronic ECU is street tuned by me. AFR’s are safe and I have ignition pulled back for safety until the car gets dyno tuned.
Engine - 13b-REW block with XCessive LIM and J-Spec UIM, RA Classic Seals.
Turbo - EFR 8374 internal wastegate turbo, custom divided manifold and 3” downpipe.
ECU – Adaptronic PnP for RX-8 with stock RX-8 ECU still in place.
Fuel System - P1 & P2 ID 850 Injectors with ID 2000 secondary’s. Aeromotive 340 fuel pump. Cooling Mist Methanol system, set to come on @ 8psi.
Ignition - SakeBomb Ignition kit.
Cooling. Stock radiator with RX-8Performance fan mod, Mazsport duo canisters… I’ve never had any type of cooling issues.
Transmission - JDM 5 Speed.
Clutch - ACT HDSS with 10K miles on it, Mazdaspeed lightweight flywheel.
Wheels/Tires - Forgestar F14’s 18 X1 10; 275/35/18, Bridgestone S-04 Pole Position.
Suspension - Blistin PSS9 Coilovers, Mazdaspeed Sways. JIC tracbars.
Brakes: Steel braided brake lines, Mazdaspeed pads, and stock rotors.
Body - Mazdaspeed Front Bumper & Sideskirts (AUTHENTIC). EVO-R trunk lip spoiler..,
Interior - Tablet Navi mod, Mazsport duo canister, U.K. Piano Black Dash Kit & Shinka steering wheel controls. Autometer Nexus Gauges (boost, oil pressure, water temp and AFR).
Exhaust - 3” Downpipe to Mazsport dual canister midpipe, Racing Roots catback single tip exhaust.
Vehicle has 35% tints all around a 50% complete windshield tint.
I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff but ill add to it as it comes up.
Bought from the ORIGINAL OWNER(Jim) and he had put well over $20,000 into it on top of the $33,000 window sticker. I understand the rx8 values dropped significantly. The swap today would cost around $18000 to complete for the engine + the other mods and + vehicle. I know you don’t get what you put in' and blah blah blah. With all the options and improvements, I am asking what I feel to be a fairly low price for the vehicle due to the stage in my life. I will consider reasonable offers, but will definitely not consider low-ballers. I don’t owe anything on the car, I don’t have to sell it, It needs nothing and insurance is cheap. If you’re truly interested, PM me and I will be more than happy to show you the car. Members on the board have seen it, everything is legitimate.
