KY 2008 40th Anniversary - 39k original miles

Year: 2008
Make: Mazda
Model: RX-8
Price: $7950
Mileage: 39000
Color: Metropolitan Gray
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (US State/Canada/Int): KY

I am looking to sell my 2008 Mazda Rx8, the car is the rare 40th Anniversary edition. Only 1,000 40th Anniversary cars were made, that number continues to drop everyday. This model is valued greatly higher than other model Rx8's due to its rarity. The 40th Anniversary cars come with unique 18" alloy wheels, Bilstein suspension, Unique exterior paint, Unique red / black interior.

Equipped with a credit card keyless entry system which is great, the thin key easily goes into a wallet / purse and you never need to pull it out. The doors have a button on the handle to unlock and lock them as long as you have the key on you. Also there is no key needed to start the car once inside as long as the key is in the car you just turn the plastic switch located where the keyhole usually is.

The title is rebuilt due to a previous accident.

REBUILT TITLE
Asking price: $7950

Year: 2008
Make: Mazda
Model: Rx-8
Mileage: 39,000
Ext color: Metropolitan Gray
Int color: Cosmo Red / Black Leather
Engine: 1.3L Rotary engine
Transmission: 6spd Manual
Drivetrain: RWD / LSD
Options: Bose stereo system with 6 disc / Heated and powered seat / Sunroof / HID headlights / keyless system.

The exterior of the car is a unique Metropolitan Gray paint which has a ton of pearl that glows in the sunlight. Absolutely no rust and the paint looks new, there are a few dings here and there as well as some scratches on the back bumper and a bit of touch up paint on the front fender but still the exterior is in amazing condition, feels and looks like a new car.

The interior is my favorite part of the car for sure, the shade of red used with the black really pop and looks luxurious but also sporty. This model is the only Rx8 to come with this interior and really sets it apart from the other models. As for the condition of the interior it is easily in MINT condition, again the car looks new even on the inside.

Engine / drive train work great, starts right up every time and runs extremely smooth. Fresh oil / coolant / ignition coils / spark plugs / plug wires were all added recently. The tires and brakes were replaced only a couple months ago.

Let me know if you have any questions or are interested.
Thanks

Very interested - do you have the compression results on the engine?

Actual good compression numbers would help you sell the car quicker here. Worth it to get those numbers.

I just got some compression numbers, will post up the videos soon.

Also took a pic of the Bilstein struts and the condition of the Toyo tires while I had the wheel off.

Thanks for posting the compression test results. Was the engine fully warmed up when tested? I can't see the temp gauge behind the tester.

Those are outstanding compression results for an older car.

What was the work performed on the car to repair it from the accident damage/salvage title?

The front bumper / hood needed to be replaced, also has a couple light scratches on the back bumper.

Congrats on selling. Had I been in the market, I'd have bought yours. Reminds me of my very healthy '05 Shinka, also with 40K miles.

ditto to New Yorker, I have my own 40th anniversary edition, but had I been in the market for one, yours was the one to buy.
