The VISION COUPE represents Mazda’s design vision for next-generation models; a more mature expression of KODO applies a Japanese aesthetic to achieve more elegant and premium styling. The exterior features a “one motion” form that exudes a sense of speed and the interior combines three-dimensional depth with a strong longitudinal axis to create a relaxed space that maintains a sense of speed.
Man that 2006-07 MazdaSpeed6 was pretty awesome. Seemed like a car that would quietly compete with the STIs while being completely unassuming. Parents had one and I wanted nothing more than to strip it down for a budget rally car
over 3 minutes of footage with some great angles and someone opens the rear door. there's only a moment of the inside (okay less than a moment) but those look like "regular" seats to me not "never to be seen in a street car-car show seats"™.
the guy is explainig how Mazda designers did the prototype, a mix of "physical" clay model job and digital design...i'dont know the exacts word in english, but surfaces are "supersleek" and designed to reflect light in many different manners (combined with paint)
Anyway, we do ALL agree that the RX-Vision and now the VISION 4 Door Coupe (like the RX-8) is a bloody gorgeous looking beast of a car and something that would and could come out of Ferrari and or Aston Martin stables.
It is a REAL SHAME that MAZDA Japan has not got the ***** to actually MAKE something this beautiful. Local on road size restrictions make this just a pipe dream, all fluff.
Do it right and it will sell extremely well, Mazda wants to go 'upmarket' properly, well here is your chance, do not leave it too long.
The reality is I am talking to myself as it will never happen.
