Thank you for the insight, I just want to sell so I can buy something else that's bigger, family coming.

Might want to list the transmission type as well.

Go to a Mazda dealer, pay the 1-2 hrs of labor to have a rotary-specific compression test done.
Also, post more photos of the exterior and, like, ANY photos of the interior. Transmission and trim level are crucial, as well.

Smoking turbo yay
Oh boy...
Just to be extra clear: you need a rotary specific compression test with 8 numbers: 6 compression pressure for each face of both rotors, and the 2 numbers of cranking RPM of both rotors. You need to either go to a Mazda dealer or a rotary shop for this. Numbers provided by piston compression testers are worthless.
Also, do you have all the maintenance records? This is also crucial, and your "I don't know what a compression test is" statement doesn't help a single bit.
Looks like a GT to me, with the sunroof and fog lights. I can't tell what kind of tranny it has, though.
And no, I would not buy an RX-8 as a first car.

If you can I would upload more pictures of the exterior and some of the interior. Also are you the first owner? Has the engine been replaced before? How have you been taken care of it? Hope the sale goes well.
