It was just an initial remote base tune to get it running for SEMA. They’ll be shooting for 500 rwhp after. I surmised that they’re thinking with the big turbo it’ll be operating efficiently on the flow map and possibly live longer at that boost/power level, but the spool up will likely never be that great.
I know you’re not a Turblown fan, but they’ve upped their game the last several years. That said, I can also relate how a bad deal still tastes bitter from way back when too.

Well they are claiming a "world record" and said they had 40 plus dyno runs as proof.
And they haven't upped their game, they are still dicking people around. A guy I know just finally got his refund last year after a long battle (since 2011 IIRC) of lies and typical BS after receiving junk stuff for his FD. Took about 4 years and he still ended up screwed for the most part in terms of his build.
But yeah maybe they do get some stuff right. But there is no excuse for shipping parts like this.

Their numbers only confirm what I have found out over the years trying to make that kind of power . Not even a big turbo is going to overcome the basic fundamental problem of the Renesis . They wont get to 500 without blowing it up (even on E85) , I'm quite confident of that. Unless they rig the dyno of course , like they did for the dyno they display on their site .
They say they plan a bridgeport, which wont work either. They obviously haven't figured out what the issue is yet.
Thanks Brettus, I wasn't sure if that had a better shot of it or just that snippet.
There was a video of the pull floating around but I can't find it anymore . You could actually see rpm on it . Maybe they didn't like my comments about the slow spool and took it down

I poked around and couldn't find it either so perhaps they did pull it down. If anyone finds it post a link please.
For some reason the link won’t post properly as a url, so I intentionally fubar’d it to make it visible. You’ll need to copy & paste the web address in a browser
