Hymee does not own a RX8 now. My car is the only one with the Hymee kit running. i purchased my kit off Revolver and was installed by Danny's workshop, Automotive Plus.
Danny has purchased two kits for his cars however, after his engine died due to tuning issues it has not been reinstalled.
This kit still has some flaws. The main problem seems to be with the bypass valve which will need a redesign. Danny, will be attending to this once he finds the time in his busy schedule. I am happy with my kit despite the minor problems.
There are other kits out there so we may hear from other owners over time.
My build thread has all the photos and progress details: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-major-horsepower-upgrades-93/skc-supercharger-build-218874/

Best option is to send the kits to Danny of Automotive plus so he can fix the defects and then it is good to install.
However, the bypass valve has not been fixed yet so you will have to wait until Danny has had a chance to address this issue. Once the bypass is sorted the idle issue should be resolved.

Thread revival: I sent my kit to Bullet cars in Queensland, Australia to get the system modified. the following items where changed:
Original bypass blocked off
new bypass added just before the intake plenum
Larger oil line added for engine oil lubrication
Machined for larger bolts
Machined for better slow of oil around gears
My new engine is in run in mode for the first 1000km and then the supercharger gets strapped on. Hopefully should be back on and running within a month.

Getting closer to installing the supercharger. I have been in touch with Brettus to help with the tune.
The next steps
1/ reinstall the remote oil filter
2/ purchase new injectors rather than reuse old ones
3/ block off the engine oil feed (plan to use gear oil instead)
4/ Install supercharger
5/ Tune
So it getting very close to installation time

I can’t wait to see the setup and see the changes you made . I have followed the hymee superchargers for awhile and read the forums. But I finally joined the last week cause this year I might try to get hold of who still owns one of these to see if I can take it off their hands and put it to use .
Thanks for the update on your build skc.

Getting close at step 4 now. Probably attempt install the supercharger tomorrow.
I have blocked off the engine oil feed so i will order some gear oil.
Mazdaedit installed with tactrix so I can get it tuned.

How do I attach this part? I cannot find where it mounts to, any pictures available. I want to get my supercharger installed and running asap.

it's the air conditioner belt pulley. look for two holes on your sc mounting plate over on the left (.au passenger side) of the engine
now that I have seen this
it looks like it uses this mounting stud.

post a pic of the front mounting plate. after looking at the red mounting plate I still think there would be two holes on the bottom left of it for it to bolt on to.
doese look like it is missing a part to bolt to.
this pic below shows the origional mounting point is still available and there is nothing on the sc mounting plate in that area.

Thanks for the picture.
I have an additional pulley could be for the a/c. I may have to use the modified pulley instead to the stock.

SKC,
based off the photos above that is the AC belt idler. It sucks. I never figured out how to accurately tension it. But it does attach through those front cover bolts
