FS: Racing Beat REV8 Exhaust System - 2004-08 RX-8
For Sale: Racing Beat REV8 Exhaust System - 2004-08 RX-8
Catback Stainless Exhaust, 3” Dual Outlets (1 per side).
Excellent condition - almost as new except for some minor gold discoloration (some parts of the exhaust have a slight gold hue rather than silver) but I think Racing Beat considers this normal. Used 3 summer seasons, about 22,000 miles. All components intact as originally delivered. I will provide the original installation instructions.

Put the original exhaust back on before trading in my RX-8 (I really miss my RX-8 and loved the sound of my car with this exhaust).
Price is $395 if picked up locally.
Location is near Buffalo, NY.
Prefer not to ship.

Located in NY and he prefers local pickup so a picture with product + name means very little. Even then, it wouldn't prove a seller any less likely to scam.
This seems legit, good luck with sale!

Thanks to those wishing me good luck on the sale.
In response to the question of location, I live in North Tonawanda, NY. I will try to post pictures today or tomorrow. One thing I can add to my original post is that I bought the exhaust new. Thanks for your interest.
PS: As I get the courage (I miss my car) to clean out my RX-8 supplies, I will be a creating a new thread with a well used but usable Covercraft Evolution 4 cover custom fit to the RX-8, oil filters, Castrol oil, and several sets of these rear door protectors (I ordered too many by accident when I got the car new):

Trying to fulfill a dream for years, a Porsche. A used 2006 Cayman S. I got a great price, still under warranty for 3 more years, very low miles. You can see it in the back of my exhaust picture below and the second picture in detail.
Funny thing is that the Cayman S is so wonderfully capable on the street that it is more boring than the RX-8 to drive. Also, it is not without its little annoyances. They pretty much all have a hatch rattle/thunk (check Cayman Forums) and other rattles. The Porsche does sound great and corners effortlessly.
I am still getting used to the Porsche and really like it. But I still miss my 8 which I used on track days (my avatar is my car on the track at Dunnville Autodrome) and for everyday driving for 5 summers. It fit like a glove and felt lighter than the Cayman S even though they are about the same weight. I haven't driven the Porsche too hard yet, so I can't give a really good final judgment.
