Category: Accessories
Price: $2500
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): Series II
Item Condition: Used
Selling a complete pull out of a 2005 RX8 6 speed. Has a turbo setup on it now and I am selling it all out whole. Doing a different motor swap.
Parts:
Single turbo kit with tubular manifold
Garrett T4 turbo charger (Turbo is a 60-1 with .81 a/r hotside )
Tial wastegate
Front Mount IC
Tial BOV
Interceptor X EMS
Engine and trans has 31k on the clock
There are alot of parts I am unfamiliar with on this car but everything engine trans related will be included. If there is any specific parts that go with the turbo setup for the motor let me know what and where they are and I will pull them off. Car drives great boosts good and made 260whp on just 6psi. No smoking and it starts right up everytime. Paint on the piping is pealing off but all couplers and pipes are in good shape.
Pics are:

Pm me or email me (alih8jerm@yahoo.com) with any questions and I will do my best to answer. I did not build this car so I am a little limited on my knowledge of whats been done. If there is anything inacurate feel free to chime in or if anyone knows the type of kit this is. It didnt look like anything that I have searched for.
Asking $2500 for complete turbo setup with interceptor x, greddy profec B Spec II, and greddy turbo timer.
Asking $2000 for complete engine with 31k actual miles on it and will come with all peripheral minus exhaust manifold
Thanks,
Dustin

this is from what i've seen... so dont take me as a god. this is not the be all, end all.
and these are optimum prices. like, really really optimum. (imo)
$3k engine.
$1.5k trans
$2.5k turbo kit
--------
$6.5k
i think realistically you're going to see less than that.
$2.5k engine
$1k trans (or less, i bought mine 7500 miles. $1k shipped.)
$1.5k unknown turbo
------
$5k
that turbo looks like it has a smooth power delivery and that is nice. however, with that MAF design i have no idea how it idles at all. this custom kit can be used with the accessport, which is a plus. but for proper maf reading the tube really needs to be straight for a good bit before the maf. the maf tube is not long enough and further more its a bent maf tube. if it idles well, i'd say thats a miracle. and the air intake is right in the middle of a hot engine bay....
the videos are posted by hinson supercars. do you work for them?

Will do. I appreciate the advice kersh. No I dont work for Hinson but they do have the only brake dyno available in my area. We used to have a shop that had a dyno dynamics but the lost the dyno some how (economy issues or the like). I wasnt to sure about pricing but that helps alot. I will paint the piping and take more pics. Pricing will just be o.b.o. I guess.
Thanks,
Dustin

Yeah I know. I got a killer deal on it. I bought it for a swap and had no clue the engine ran so well. Just time for a motor swap on it. Got real lucky and it had a full veilside kit with seibon hood, defi gauges, greddy boost and turbo timer, etc...

Wow you swaped another car for this one, which one? What route are you taking and will you post it here? I wounder what material that piping would be that it rust like that? How could/should have been done to prevant that? Car would be super clean if not for that.

I think mild steel on the piping. I bought the car to swap it. I am trying to sell everything whole since the interceptor x is tuned for it unless someone wants the drivetrain without so they can go with a cobb unit. Car is pretty damn immaculate for sure!
