Decided to put my 8 back up for sale. Here is most of the info off of my craigslist ad:
I'm putting up my Black 2004 Mazda RX8 for sale....ONLY because I'm considering going a different route and trying something else. It has the GT and Sport package with ALL the options you could possibly get on this car. It has a black and red interior and seats (hottest combo in my opinion), dual heated seats, power driver seat, Factory Navigation & DVD System, Bose premium sound system, and traction control/DSC. This car is LOADED.....Has everything you could possibly need in a sexy and sporty car! I have honestly gotten nothing but compliments with this car...it's an eye catcher!
For those who don't know, The RX8 seats up to 4 adults comfortably and has suicide doors which open up that make it VERY CONVENIENT for rear passengers to enter and exit the car. Unlike annoying 2 door coupes where you have to push the front seats forward so your passengers can enter.....NONE OF THAT HERE!! Another benefit of this is that the car goes under insurance as a "4 DR coupe" so you actually pay a lower premium than you would with a 2 DR coupe, therefore saving you money!
I have taken very good care of this car since I bought it and have done most of the maintenance work to it myself....so I know that only the best has gone in the car.
**GOODIES**
1) TurboXS Cat-back Exhaust (Nice deep tone)
2) Complete super white (6000K) LED interior lights
3) Clear Corner sidemarkers with 6000K LED bulbs
4) 6000K low beam HIDS
5) 6000K 68 LED Fog lights to match
6) Updated Navigation Disc
7) Polished fender strakes
8) 19" MRR HR6 (2011 model wheels) Staggered Wheels. Front are 19x8 with 245/35/19 General G-Max All season tires, and rears are 19x9 with 275/35/19 General G-Max all seasons. Spent over 2K on this setup alone!!
Probably a few other things I'm forgetting.
***8/15/11***
-Put in new 2009 R3 RX8 bilstein shocks and springs last week!!
-New driver-side lower control arm, upper tire rod, and lower tie rod were also installed.
***3/13/12***
-New Cross Drilled & Slotted Rotors with Hawk HPS Performance Pads.
-Re-Painted brake calipers.
Car is in GREAT condition inside and out. NEEDS NOTHING but a new driver! Currently the car has 138,XXX on the odometer, But Mazda put in a new engine back in 2005 as a pre-cuation to recalls that came out in 04, so the actual mileage on the engine is lower than what the odometer reads. The engine replacement can be verified through any dealership via the cars Vin #.
KBB Private Party value for the RX8 with all these options @ 138,XXX miles is $9,192 for excellent condition, and that doesn't include the EXTRAS my car comes with. I'm asking $10,000 OR BEST OFFER for the car with Everything. Wheels and tires alone were over 2K!! If you don't want the wheels or some of the other extras, I'm sure we can work something out.
PM me with any questions!

I have TSC (Tristate Consumer Insurance)....and yes its the original engine. Pretty sure I've seen some here on rx8 club with original engines..and more miles than mine. It's all about how you take care of this car...Alot of people say rotaries aren't reliable but its all about how you maintain your vehicle. BMW's for example(like the 3 series) are great cars that can go well up to 300K miles....ONLY if you maintain them properly.

Awesome bro! Good for you sorting out the insurance ****! Haha rotary for the win! And your right it's all about how well u take care of your vehichle(as with any engine really except B16's which probably would run on water instead of oil lol)

Hahaha, good luck. Me and a friend both tried them before, but they told us both that they don't insure "sport cars" and we tried to convince them that our cars were 4 doors...lol

Testing the waters here....in no rush to get rid of my 8. I just might decide to go a different route and try something new, and if i do, I would love for an 8 lover to buy it : ). Please feel free to PM with any questions !
