2004 RX-8, GT, Loaded + Aftermarket
Year: 2004
Make: Mazda
Model: RX-8
Price: $11500
Mileage: 69000
Color: Brilliant Black
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (US State/Canada/Int): TX
I own the car outright, so it'll be a clean and easy sale for whoever wants it.
General Info
-Price: SOLD
-2004 RX-8
-Grand Touring - everything but navigation (HID lights, heated seats, power windows/locks, sunroof, homelink mirror, 6 CD changer (Bose), A/C, and more)
-Black and Red Leather
-6-speed
-About 68,xxx miles
-Average dings/scratches for a 7-year old car
-Engine replaced under warranty (around 48k)
-Up-to-date on oil changes, inspection and registration.
Aftermarket Parts
-Richard Paul (AxialFlow) Short Shifter
-Illuminated Shift ****
-Race Roots Syncro-Saver
-Brand New (real) Leather Shift Boot
-Racing Beat Intake + RB Duct
-Racing Beat Sway Bars (front and rear)
-Tein S Springs and Koni Yellow struts
-Rota p45-R wheels, 18x9.5 + 30 - basically mint condition
-275/35 Dunlop Star Specs (amazing tires) - used only about a thousand miles
-Authentic MS front (professionally painted all black) - soon to be rare...no longer in production!
-Authentic MS Sides (professionally painted all black and installed)
-Authentic Fabulous Rear (needs work) - very rare piece (if parted out, dibs go to zoom44)
-Tinted windows all around
-LED 3rd brake light
-RR red footwell lights wired to a switch (front and back)
-Fog-light rewire + PIAA yellow fog bulbs
It needs a few things done, like the key fobs are dead (but I have both of them), needs driver's side visor, fender vents, spoiler needs new screws, passenger window only goes down 99%, and with these wheels/tires you will eventually want a small pull to the rear fenders (normal driving is fine, but under load or tracking it'll scuff the tires)
UPDATED PRICE - dropped it $500 due to recent cel - code P0661 (intake manifold). I just drove the car and redlined it multiple times, it pulls just fine. Search for that code and you'll see it should be a relatively easy fix, I just don't have time to take care of it myself so I've knocked $500 off the asking price. You can test drive it and see it run perfectly smoothly.

yeah, i've thought about that, but i really just don't want to part it out, ha ha. not only the work involved, but for some reason it seems more depressing to return it to stock and then sell it than to just sell it as-is. we have my gf's mazda listed locally too...so maaaaaaaaaybe i'll get to keep the 8 if hers sells first.

keeping it!! too bad you weren't in the market, ha ha, you're the only one following my f/s thread!!
we ended up listing my gf's mazda 3 too, thinking it would be an easier sell, and we were right. i posted a thread in the lounge
