I think this dude has in mind to sell the car whole, and has just listed it in the wrong section. But I dont understand the terminology used "part out" in that case.
But then again, people on this forum tend to misuse that phrase anyway. I was always taught that to "part out" a car meant to take all of the parts off of it one-by-one until nothing was left. People here call "selling a few aftermarket parts off of my car" a "part out" on this forum, for whatever reason.
Either way you describe it, I don't think this guy is looking to sell the car part by part yet. If he did there's no way he would get anywhere near his asking price of 10k.

the apex seal is blown but i called pettit racing for a quote and said that most likely what happened was that it cracked but because the motor is relatively new, 39394 miles and its an 08, the housing is most likely ok, but it would require a tear down.

At first i was trying to sell the car whole, but i am already getting so many requests for parts, its rediculous, and i know i will exceed my asking price for the car whole. so it is now a complete part out, so if you all want something, pm me your name and zip. keep in mind that i will take orders as they are requested and it might take a while, so i will get back to you when i have time. right now, im taking out my pulley which is being a bitch, and coils
As always, I am interested in the engine block core, and we may be close enough to do a deal.
It is almost impossible to break apex seals and not do significant damage to at least the rotor and rotor housing, if not two of the 3 irons. I do not agree with the assessment that you will only need seals to rebuild.
Whether or not I buy your core is dependent on how you value it. I'd appreciate right of first refusal when you get to that point. Shoot me a pm or email.
