It's looking like I will have to sell my beloved RX-8 in order to fund larger family vehicle. I purchased it new in 2009. It is rarely driven and is always stored in a garage.
- Original owner (non-smoker)
- Black leather interior
- All maintenance done by Mazda dealer
- Oil changed every 3,000 miles
- Oil checked and topped off as needed every other fill up
- Tires rotated every 6,000 miles
- Always red-lined 2nd gear at least once when driven to prevent carbon build up
- New battery (June 2013)
- Never raced/tracked
- Drives like new
The car has never had any paint/body work done. There are no dents or door dings. There are a few tiny rock chips on the front bumper, and the rear bumper has minor damage (about the size of a quarter) from when someone rolled into the back of my car while I was stopped at a red light. They probably weren't going more than 5 miles per hour or so. Otherwise, the car really does look new.
Attached are some quick pictures (taken today) of the car and of the minor damage to the rear bumper. More pictures of the car can be seen by clicking my signature. While the pictures in my signature aren't as recent, the car looks exactly the same today as it does in those (with the exception of what is mentioned above). I will try to post better quality recent pictures in the next day or so.
