The extras alone are probably worth in the area $8k if you part them out!
The engine and turbo have about 40-45k on them. The engine itself was a rebuild from rx7world. The engine cranks a little slow and vacuum is a bit low, but she still has plenty of pep.
The hood has a few dings but the car is pretty much ding free.. just typical stuff for a 10 year old car. The body itself was repainted about 2 years ago. There are a couple minor rust spots -- one on each door sill and one in the rear passenger side wheel well. All have been treated but could use some touch up.
Last, there is no heat and no windshield wiper reservoir. The heater core needs to be replaced. A/C doesnt work either. Compressor turns, so it may just need a recharge. I haven't bothered to have it checked yet.
Overall, that's the good and the bad. The car handles amazing, has a boatload of rare aftermarket parts, but will need some long term TLC. Might be great if you want to part it out, fix her up, or turn her into a full fledged track car. Don't let the 150k on the ODO scare you... the car has been very well maintained. All the aftermarket parts make this a very fair price, though it's negotiable.
And don't ask... I am *NOT* parting this out.

1) You don't know anything about the car or what I have done to it since.
2) If you don't have any value to add to the conversation, take a hike.

you had a vacuum leak at the event and Steve was having a problem with your car connecting to the Cobb, and when they did he could not tune it because of mechanical problems. What's your compression, its a simple test. I'm just saying don't sell something you yourself consider a headache like its all good. A compression test is $80, if you care about the car why have you not ascertained the health of the engine?

There's no need to do a compression test. Low vacuum and slow cranking (which are stated in the ad) mean compression is lower than normal. As you should be aware, engines can and do work fine with less than ideal compression. If someone wants compression numbers, they can pay for it -- I don't see any value in doing so.
The map Steve put on the car works great I've been driving the car every weekend without issue, so I take umbrance with the fact that you chose to inject yourself in this discussion when you have no intention of buying the car, don't have all the facts, and are accusing me of being less than honest.
