Interested
Whereabouts in Canada?
Looking to buy exhaust manifold and air pump.
couple of questions;
1) does the manifold fit a 2005 GT?
2) Can the manifold be removed and replaced without removing the engine? (Pardon my limited mechanical knowledge).
Thank you

im just North of the GTA. About 40mins north of Toronto.
1. Yes the manifold fits series 1 and series 2.
2. Yes, it can be removed without fudging the engine. Keep in note, to get to the manifold you will need to release it from its engine mount. You have to place a large chunk of wood on a jack to support the engine while you remove it off its mount. It’s not daunting as it sounds. There are plenty of instructions on how to get to it. It would be a totally different story if you were installing a racing beat manifold. That definitely requires to have the engine supported from above because there’s no way to clear the manifold without shifting the entire engine towards the driver side. Despite what the instructions tell you. On a series 2 vehicle, there’s no way to get the racing beat manifold in there without undoing both engine mounts. You definitely don’t want to support the entire engine on a wood block on a single jack.
the OEM manifold though can easily be taken out and back in from the passenger side without too much of a headache. You can imagine my disappointment when I realized there was no way of getting my upgraded manifold in there.. I blew an entire weekend on it. I was really ticked off. Oh well.. it’s in there now.
