Why? Why why why would you go from a car that is very good at drifting and has been on the podium more than any other car (mustang), to some frankenstein TC?!?!
He had a sweet deal going with Ford and they know a hell of a lot more about making a car perform than the Scion people.
Did they just hack up a Tc or did they drop a tc body on to something? I didn't think Toyota made anything in RWD that small.

I'm sure the Tc will perform a LOT better than the FORD. That rustang's tranny broke so much in their car, and the car spent more time in the pits than in the track
Did you even read the original post? Do you know Formula-D rules?

VEHICLE ELIGIBILITY
8.1.1 Determination
8.1.1.1 Eligible models must have been considered a “production car” and have had a
minimum build run of 2,500 units in their model year.
8.1.1.2 Eligible body styles include: coupe, sedan, convertible or wagon and have no
more than 5 doors.
8.1.1.3 Cars must have been originally designed as either Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) or
All Wheel Drive (AWD).
8.1.1.4 Cars must maintain the original OEM unibody and/or frame structure between
the original front and rear suspension mounting points.
8.1.1.5 Vehicles that do not meet the above eligibility criteria must petition for approval
from FORMULA DRIFT.
Well now that i have read the rules i am even more confused, i don't see how this car is legal. Also i still maintain that that a mustang is a MUCH better platform that some franken Tc. It's not my fault that Gushi can't keep his stang running.
This guy does not seem to have a problem wining in a stang....
