good honda del sol site
I really like the mitia.net, rx7club and of coure our rx8club web sites. Would like to pick up a clean, low mileage (less then 100k) Honda Del Sol one day at a price that won't kill me. Anyway know of a great Del Sol site, sort of like what we have on this board?
It seems our rx8 and rx7 sites, along with an eclispe site are all 'owned' by the same people...at least they look the same on the front end so if they had a like Del Sol site I would be interested in checking it out.
thanks

I almost bought a Del Sol years ago but got a Miata instead 'cause of rear wheel drive mainly and great balance. But some of those Del Sols were kind of peppy. Maybe they are a little lacking in sports car handling stock but I'm sure they can be set up nice by someone who knows what they're doing. I still see some around with owners who obviously take care of them and love 'em.

there will be an answer, let it be.
For though they may be parted there is still a chance that they will see,

thanks for the 'good' replies
the reason I was even thinking of one, well two, are as follows:
1. read an article on decent good used cars that can be purchased (so they said) at a low price point now. think one was a thunderbird (2000-2003??), the del sol plus a few others. so of course I had to check them out, research you know
drove the thunderbird, nice retro look but for sure a car and not a sports car.
drove the del sol a few weeks back and really liked it.
2. have a brother a few hours north of my place and was thinking about getting the del sol to keep at his place. i really like the idea of two doors, two seats, and in this case, a targa top (having the back window go down really make for smooth air flow).
nope, not a rear drive car nor would I get rid of my 07 rx8 (auto). two different animals for sure. sad to say but I do not know that well the difference in feel between driving a fwd compared to a rwd car
I'm not a speed racer but still I know I should know, sad, sad, sad.
at any rate, I had a used gt mx5 and would have kept it but it was just a tad too small for me to fit right (could never get the driver seat to go back far enough) plus the soft top always made me worry about it getting cut. a targa seems like a great solution for floirda weather. either way too hot or just right come sun rise/sun set. plus the del sol driver seat actully can go too far back, it has that much leg room in it.
thanks again for the input.

My sister has one. You can buy it from her and my brother-in-law has one you can buy his. One black and one white. They don't use it really anymore since they upgraded to an SI and a s2000.
