My new vette came in.
I went from this:
2005 Velocity Red Mazda RX8 6-speed manual 232 horsepower
To this:
2007 Velocity Yellow Chevrolet Corvette 6-speed manual 400hp
to this:
2008 Victory Red
MN6 manual transmission
430hp
Just had a chance to take some pics...I installed an avic D3 the other day...had a fitment problem but resolved it (tiredness = incorrectly connecting the face plate and brackets. So far the only mods are the Z06 Spoiler, and the Avic-D3 with the ipod connection. As some of you know, the faceplate for the D3 doesnt really match the OEM C6 interior, so I sanded it down, and repainted it with OEM black interior paint...I think it looks good. As some of you know that have the AVIC-D3, when you select to show 'artist', it will show all artists so you have to go through a lot of scrolling if your artist is in the middle of the group. What I did was, I went into ITunes....renamed all of my songs artist tags to the first letter of their name, then renamed their album to the artist name. That way when I click 'artist'...it only has A-Z and #....I click E...it shows all my E Artists...just a little shortcut that I did since I have around 5000 songs. I just ran the Ipod wire behind the dash and into the glovebox. I also ordered SLP Loudmouth exhaust and LS3 Vararam intake. I will also be getting a computer chip in about a month. After everything, I will be at around 500HP
And my AVIC-D3 splash screen on boot up is:

Huge hole is huge
Very nice ride. I'd be more enthusiastic if I didn't see at least a million vettes a day..*Though the Mustangs still have you beat on that mark :P*

A LOT better than my RX8. My LS2 got around 30mpg on the highway...around 32mpg when I had it tuned and with the intake. The LS3 is advertised with the new SAE rating of 26MPG highway...but I know a lot of people are getting around the same as I did with my 07.

I swear.. I need to show one of my friends this and tell him to get his *** in gear and straightened out and he can be driving one of these sooner rather than later. He's a PC Nerd (haha self proclaimed one btw) and graduated 2 years ago but keeps on letting his mouth get him in trouble.
Awsome car and very nice upgrade, atleast it wasnt another M3 convert. To many of those lately haha.
So question is have you brought her out to some of the same twisty roads you enjoyed in the 8 yet?
