Moving to GA, need suggestions...
So my company is moving me down to GA to work in our Norcross location in a couple months. I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers on areas to avoid or areas I should look at. I'm looking to rent for my first 6 months there before I decide to buy. I don't really want more than a 30 minute commute cause as you all know the 8 isn't so great with the mpg's. I want to have some ideas before they fly me down to check it out.
thanks,
George

Norcross itself is a pretty nice area. North and East you have Duluth, Johns Creek, Dunwoody, Roswell - all nice. Unless you're dead set about being downtown, or out in the boonies - your best bet is probably reasonably close to work.
I would stay north of 285 and east of Ga400.
Stop by http://www.Garx8club.com and ask there. We are fairly active and are scattered all around the city.

Welcome to GA in advance. I think you'll be happy here. Gwinnett County, which Norcross is located in, is a decent place to live. There's good government, low taxes and many other positives. We look forward to having you here.
