There seems to be a wide disparity in RX8 expertise among mazda dealers. What's your opinion of the st. louis and metro east service depts?

I have dealt with John Bomm. before, but not on Mazda -8 issues. That is where I plan on purchasing mine from in about two weeks. I know the Bomm. family and that is why I am going to do business with them. Lou Fuzs Chevy(especially service) has ALWAYS treated me right and I would also have no qualms about dealing with them accept they dont have the car I want and F.B. does.

I bought mine from Lou Fusz on Lindbergh. I also got accessories through them and they installed them a week later and everything went great.
The only bad experience I had with them is that when I picked up the car, it wasn't detailed inside, so the salesman told me he would schedule it and I could bring it in. So, I bring it in and tell them I need it detailed and the receptionist tells me their senior guy that does a really great job on detailing has not shown up to work for about a week, but his "understudy" was working. So, I let them have it for about an hour and the guy comes back and says I'm ready to go and I go outside and notice that the car is dripping some water which I thought was wierd. I get inside and nothing inside had been touched, so I concluded that the genius must have just washed my car even though I repeated at least 3 times to detail the inside. So, I just detailed the inside by myself. Probably a better job anyway.
