Progress Tech Anti-Roll Bars
SOLD
Brand new front and rear set of Progress Technology Anti-Roll Bars for '04/'09 RX-8. Never used still in boxes.
Reason for sale: suplus to requirements.
Manufacturer's web site- Progress Technology: Anti-roll bars, sport springs, coil-overs, camber kits and more since 1995!
Front Bar- http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s...X8frontbar.jpg
Rear Bar- http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s...RX8rearbar.jpg
€250 for the pair, will not sell seperately, no offers. A real bargain IMHO, cost me about €400 delivered incl. VAT etc.
and a few words from the makers:
"Progress anti-roll bars dramatically improve handling. How? They minimize the traction-robbing body "lean" that rolls part of the outside tires off the pavement. Progress Technology sport-tuned Anti-roll bars replace skinny OEM bars and rubber bushings with larger diameter (stiffer) alloy steel bars and polyurethane bushings. More roll stiffness means less body "lean", and the tires stay flatter on the pavement (larger contact patches). The result is more grip and added driver control!
-Less body roll means more traction, faster cornering speeds, and increased driver confidence.
-Polyurethane bushings produce crisp response on turn-in.
Progress Anti-roll bars are cold-formed in-house using our custom-built precision bending equipment. Both laser-cut and CNC bar ends are MIG welded in place using a precise fixture for an exact fit."
Location: Dublin
additional info:
Front Size: Diameter 32mm (hollow bar; 6.35mm side-wall). -Adjustment Range: 3 hole.
Rear Size: Diameter 19mm, Solid. -Adjustment Range: 2 hole.
These are a substantially larger diameter than OEM and also much stiffer but with 3 hole or 2 hole adjustment for fine tuning.
and for completeness here are the stock sizes-
Front: 27mm OD 3.40mm wall (tubular) -No Adjustment
Rear: 16mm OD 2.46mm wall (tubular) - No Adjustment.
