NY Want to polish my oem's

does anyone know a wheel shop where I can get my oem wheels polish up in the nyc or westchester area?

it would probably be cheaper and less time consuming to buy someones oem Shinka wheels or a set that are already polished,,,

Stealth, I don't know how you did it man. Must have taken you days because my paint was hard as steel. I tried everything to get it off and it took days for just one wheel. I gave up...after several weeks mind you.

ManKlan I really wanna do this I always thought they were powder coated chrome!

It takes too much time plus I have no tools for it. I just rather pay someone to do it.

a lot of Powder Coating shops chemically strip the paint off of wheels before they powder coat them a different color. Maybe they will be able to help you in some way?

Sand or media blast is the way to go. I tried chemical strip and even that did not fully work on getting down to bare metal. Maybe it was my wheels, not sure. My brother who is a body shop guy told me that most likely the primer they use is chemically bonded to the metal.

Here's just one wheel that took days to get this clean. I even attempted to use a wire mesh wheel to take it off.
