Clutch Problem I think...
Ok I've been assuming this was a clutch problem for a while, just wanted to make sure I'm not wasting time and others think it is too...
When letting out on the clutch in neutral, I get a weird almost grinding noise...
That's the only real symptom, other than sometimes at high rpms it takes quite a shove to get it to go in gear, even with the clutch to the floor....could be in my mind though.
The noise sounds just like a throw out bearing that went out on a 91 camaro I had, and happens in the same situation...that's what made me jump to it.
Sound about right?

Nope... because you said, "letting out on the clutch in neutral, I get a weird almost grinding noise..."
The release (aka throw-out) bearing is used with the clutch pedal in, not out.
If the release bearing was seized or grinding, the sound would be worse with the clutch pedal in.
Its likely you're hearing what is called 'Gear Rollover' and is common.
Just to clarify what you're experiencing... is this sound audible with the pedal all the way out?
You mentioned "letting out..." so I just want to be clear because grinding WHILE pressing in/letting out the pedal would be the release bearing.

Yes, it's audible with the pedal all the way out, goes away when I push the pedal in.
