About 2 month ago the remote stopped working all of a sudden. So I replace the battery in it, but that wasn't it ofcourse.. So i started using key. Yesterday I was at the store came out and the driver door will not open or close with the key..it will unlock and lock it and i can hear it working but will not open from the inside or outside driver side. So I had to go through the passnger side. Its prob the door module but please correct me if I'm wrong.. I will try to take it apart today with the door locked and mess with it.
Another thing When I first got the car and everything worked I did notice that the lights don't flicker and no horn will sound when I lock it, and I put the window down and locked the car and opened it from inside, and the alarm didn't go off, is it even suppose to? Is it my alarm module crapping out?

Please give some info on the vehicle. Year, transmission, mileage, orig eng? Aftermarket alarm? Do you have the windows tinted around time problems started?

2 or 3 keys (one reason we need your vehicle info cause diff key configs). Have you programmed in spare keys?

Did you inspect your fuses? (inspect all fuses).

well the car is a 2004 MT with 60,000, orginal engine, and stock alarm. i did try to program the key fob when it crapped out about 2 month ago but it didnt work, i tinted the car about one year ago... and i only have one key.
i tried messing with the driver door to get it unlock but nothing seem to work. i donno what to do next... i searched around the form and attemtepd the different things people did to unlock it from the inside. no luck!!!!
