Shimmy/Jostling noise when turning sometimes
I have an 05 AT Touring, 71k. When turning, I will sometimes hear/feel a slight shimmy or jostling of the car. I have had bad CV joints in other cars and don't think this is the same issue. Has anyone else had this or can recommend things to check?
I have tried searching, but I don't know a good term to describe what is happening. I'll try to use my iphone to take some audio/video later on to see if I can present a sample of it.

I zoom therefore I am.
you double threaded this question, i'm guessing by mistake. Here's the answer i put in the other one
do you have any other issues with steering? the connector for the rack is a known issue to some cars: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-trouble-shooting-95/power-steering-failure-107481/ long thread but something to look at
Also, tired tread, wheel balance, brakes.. these have all been checked?

Are these high speed turns or low speed ( < 5mph ) turns? How much of a turn are we talking about, slight turn, or full lock turn?
I only ask because i get a "rubbing" noise when i take a slow almost full-lock turn into my driveway. Might be the diff needing a flush, but wont know until Monday.

I bought the car about 4 weeks ago. Tire tread is good (it cover's George's head on a quarter), but did get it checked out at a mazda dealership and they said the back breaks were low. Alignment is good (no straying at highway speeds). I have not gotten wheel balance checked.

Thanks. Its not a huge deal and I have the coils/plugs/wires to replace that are higher on my priority list, so it will probably be a bit before I have it checked. It's something so slight and only happens once every 2-3 days that it's hard to notice.
