Pre-Register for the Midwest Rotary Rally
Hello,
We have updated the MRR web site for the 2004 event. The Registration page contains a pre-register form, which does not obligate you to attend. We are merely trying to get a head count so we can plan out how much car corral space we need inside the track, hotel group discounts, etc. So if you are interested in attending, please fill out the form. (This does not commit you to anything.)
The web site is:
http://www.rotaryrally.com
We are also adding new info on the tech sessions, races we will be watching, prizes and give-aways, etc., so check it out!
Cheers,
Steve

Hey,
Send me a link and some other info on TRAXION and I will get it on the Rotary Car Club of Chicago (RC3) club web site in the Events section. That sounds like it would be cool to check out.
The Midwest Rotary Rally is just under 4 months away, so it is never too soon to start planning. We have some early sponsorship lined up, and are working with local and national tuners on the Tech Sessions, which takes a lot of advance planning to arrange, so the midwest clubs that put on the MRR are in high gear.
I hope you can make it to the MRR.
Cheers,
Steve

Cool. I will add the info to the Chicago web site. We can work on figuring out how to get some Chicago folks out for TRAXION.
I have autoxed at Hawthorn quite a few times. The course designed by the Chicago SCCA chapter was a bit tight, but if you came out of the hairpin at the far end with the turbos spooled, WHOA NELLY! I hit third and the car was still pulling, hit a bit over 80 MPH. And the SCCA tries to design courses to limit speeds to like 55 or 60, I think.
Cheers,
Steve
