Spark Plug Wire Help

Spark Plug Wire Help
So I looking to do a diy build for some IGN1A coils for my car (Yes I am cheap and enjoy building it). I did the same with some d585 coils back in 2013.
So I built my own spark plug wires back then but for the life of me cannot find any info on the connectors I used for the spark plugs. Does anyone know what size of connector we use?

They are standard HEI at the coil, which is the same connection type as the plug end. So that will work. The HEI boot is slightly different is all. If you’re looking to but a kit they’ll be listed as HEI. If you buy all the boots, wire, etc. bulk style then you can use either.

You probably know, but seems like occasionally go off half cocked (sorry, no offense, me too sometimes ) so better safe than sorry, if you build a direct harness using the OE power wiring rather than building a relayed battery powered harness then you need to stay under 4mS dwell or so. Otherwise you’ll trip the 15A ignition fuse best case, fry the wiring harness worst case. For NA there isn’t any reason to go above 3 -3.5 mS dwell. That will just be wasted energy as shocking as it may seem.

Yeah I tend to have those moments I think more often than most but I do have this all covered (hopefully), running a setup rated for full 40 amp current at 12v direct from the battery. Just going to be pulling ground and signal firing from the main harness. In-line a relay as well.
On topic of current, should I be okay with the ign1a and 8mm spark plug wires? Or should I bump up to 8.5 or 10mm? I guess I haven't fully researched yet so I can look around if I get some free time at work.
And if you have seen any of my old posts I have been building up a stock pile of parts to REW swap over the years so I am just considering this as part of that. I know these are overkill for N/A but hey I like headroom.
