Does s2 manual convert still need light flywheel with oem counterbalance?
So I'm already getting the parts for the manual convert on my s2. I know that for s1 it's better to keep the counterweight and use a light flywheel due to the engine being different from a manual one. Would the same apply for s2? One of my friends offered me his oem flywheel but I would have to take off my counter weight for it. Thanks

The OE flywheel includes a counterbalance, you can use it directly. It's the autos that need one, or if using a lightweight flywheel.
The engine is very much the same in any respect that matters. Different oil system and a few othet things, but they don't affect the flywheel/clutch.
