Happy new owner
I've been tracking the RX8 development for a while now and finally took a test drive on Friday. The dealer made me a deal I couldn't turn down and I'm not driving a 6sp, Titanium Gray, Sport Pack, rotary accent pack, appearance pack and in Dash 6 CD.
What a blast! I have a 2yrs old little girl and she loves the new car. There is actually more room for her now than with my old VW Jetta.
I have a couple questions:
1) Is the MSPO4 recall the same as the M-flash?
2) Does anyone have winter tire suggestions? Would a rim and tire package be better? (It's so cold right now that I might need them sooner than later )
Thanks.

PS I assume you mean "I'm now driving" instead of "I'm not driving"

I'm definately driving the car now. I got a great deal from Brookdale Mazda in Brooklyn Park. 6sp, Sport Pack, Rotary Accent, Appearance Pack and in-dash 6 CD for $26700 (Incl, Destination). The car only had 30mi.
Morries is a great dealer but they could not get close to this price. I'll be getting serviced there.
As far as driving in the winter, I'm not too worried. It's been wet for the past few days, tried to spin the car a few time and the DSC is wonderful. I'm sure that with good winter tires, it should be fine.

You make me sick. Just started saving up myself and won't be able to get one for at least 8 months. Trying to Live off of other people's happiness with this car but that only goes so far. There will be a little difference between jumping from my 93 ford escort to a 2005 RX8..... I CANT WAIT!!!!
I've lived in Michigan for 24 out of my 25 year life, and now i'm in sunny Arizona for good. Tire suggestions for rear will drive 6sp in the winter? Get some chains!
