Not again....
Well i got the car back yesterday (got new PCM and primary injectors) and i noted that it felt like it had less power than before, but i figured its probly just the ecu being new and not learning...well im not so sure now...
I went outside started up my car today and proceeded up the driveway... and guess what! The thing bogged down and almost died but i quickly put in the clutch and saved it. It once again had NO low end power and simply would not get up the drivewar without me revving it to about 5k rpms to get it to move. I also backed it up put in on the flat area and put it in first, and gave it WOT..and yea it didnt get very far up the driveway even though the thing was full throttled. It simply would not move. This is when the car is cold btw, however before i would start the car up at 6 in the morning and it be 20 degrees outside and the thing would get up both of my driveways (the other even more steep, the first isnt very steep though) without warming up and would drive fine. Now im starting the car which has been out in the sun all morning and its 95 degrees outside and it wont get up one driveway.
Once the car was warm, it had low end power but not much. It did not however, pin you in the seat once you hit 5k rpms like it did when the injectors failed. It would start to accelerate at about 4k and climb the rpms more linearly without a kick in the back. The throttle response was horrible and would bog a bit if i suddenly changed throttle amount. The car felt like it had about 20-30 horsepower missing. I even tried to chirp the tires from a start and while shifting, which i used to be able to do even in a 2-3 shift. I couldnt get even get to spin the tires from a start and neither during even a 1-2 shift which used to be easy. The engine would simply not have enough power and would bog down instead of taking off.
The car is still driveable once its warm, but why the hell is this happening again and i dont think it is simply the PCM being new, cuz when i bought the car with 0 miles on it, it did not do this sorta thing then. I do understand that it learns, but it mean it has to be SMART to begin with.
Any ideas from you as to what is happening?Anyone have similar problem? I realy dont want to take it back to the dealer when they had the car 2 weeks last time and it just got it back yesterday. This is rediculous. Ohh and for the record my gas mileage was an average of 5.8 when my injectors failed before, i filled up the tank just now and will moniter my gas mileage...unless i take it back to the dealer later.

Yikes take it back to the dealer and make them fix it, if anything the M flash made the lower rev's a little more powerfull.
I zero difference in low RPM torque whether it is warmed up or not... did they inspect your coils yet?

Yea i called the dealer and tho moment i said my name he was like "Ohh no dont tell it isnt running right...." and i was like "well sry but it isnt" I think it might be the coils but they checked them before when they found out the injectors were bad and said they were fine, but i told him i would keep the car for the weekend and see if anything changed or improved and if not bring it in on monday. I swear at this point this car is becomin a lemon and starting to realy **** me off. However i dont want to get rid of it cuz it looks so damn awesome and handles very well. Anyways i will prolly take it in on monday...again

Well they cant figure out whats wrong...again. They said that they are gonna have the Regional Technician from Florida come and take a personal look at the car to try and figure out whats wrong. I live in Atlanta, btw. So hopefully he can figure it out, if not they are going to buy the car back as a lemon.

Well got the car back today, and turns out that the 1st and 3rd ingnition coils were burnt...who would have thought that!. Seriously when i took the car in 3 WEEKS ago, i told them to check them first, before anything, and they told me that wasnt it. So i got the car back and have to take it back in the next day and NOW they find out that the ingnition coils are indeed burnt. I swear why in the hell dont they listen to me and take me for a dumbass kid who doesn't kno a damn thing about cars. I could have fixed the thing in 1 day if i had the parts and tools and didnt care about warranty. Hopefully next time (if there is one) they will listen to me the first time! .... ARGHH!

Are you running canzoomer's stuff? I heard it can fry the coils.

Who knew? Well, Speed Racer nailed it, for one. This kind of stuff is epidemic with dealers. It seems that the good ones are getting to be as rare as gold nuggets laying around on the ground. And unfortunately, the dealer service deptartment's attitude seems to have very little to do with your age or experience level with rotaries.
Hey Modena, pm me if you can. I want to ask about your screen name.
