Should I Keep The Car?

Should I Keep The Car?
*** MOD EDIT: HUGE Font size reduced. Please stick to standard fonts except to emphasise a point ***
I need some help I have the choice of giving up the RX-8 and getting a S2000. It seems to me the RX-8 has alot of problems and has not been built to well from what I have read on this forum is it worth me keeping. Another thing is it seems like on the aftermarket point of view theirs is nothing being planned (anything major like forced induction) for the RX-8.
I have had my rotors replaced twice, cailpers once, pads twice, the CAT was replaced at 1000 km its was defective and i had a powerloss of almaost 100 hp according to the dealer, the O2 sensor was gone at the same time as the CAT and now the car is making alot of different noises coming from the transmission and my clutch wont go into 1st gear sometimes (double clutching is needed).
I mean Im paying almost $60,000CAD and the car does not run the way it should or the way I expect it to. The quality of engineering is very poor I was told from one of the techs hear in toronto that the same tranny and clutch used in the mazda 6 was is used in the RX-8!!!!!!.
What should I do? Someone!!!

OK first do not type thisBIG. the first thing to do is call mazda Hq and complain and then go see a lawyer and look up the lemon law. Now its a first year car so of course it will have some problems. all cars have problems, my moms 50,000 Bmw had electrical problems. Now Bmws are highly engneered cars.I dont want to be bitter but instead of complaining about the problems get off your but and do something about it. you never get anything handed to you in this world you have to earn it.
Now with the s2000 they are nice but the olds one only, the 2004 sucks. in my personal opion i like the rx8 way better then the s2000

Get the s2000. It's on its last leg of its design life before a major redesign is in order, so you know they ironed out almost all the bugs. This seem to be the most important criteria for you.

It would be interesting to know the build date on the car you plan on returning. I'm going to assume you had one of the earlier builds as I don't hear much in the way of problems from the more recent builds.

Actually, at least in the United States, I believe the RX-8 shares the same manual transmission as the MX-5 6-speed. Flame me if I'm wrong :o. My suggestion is to check the lemon laws in Canada. Second of all, I do not understand why you complained about the lack of aftermarket support (there is, but most of it is in its infancy ) first. I don't mind the massive font, as you did have an issue with your car. I am sorry that you aren't satisfied.

well i have an issue with the font and someone will be correcting it shortly and also eclps0's quoting of it. secondly by rotors he meant brake rotors right? third if yo don't need the back seats by all means get an s2000. it sounds like you will be happier.
