@#$#%@# Shopping Carts!!!
I HATE SHOPPING CARTS
or, more specifically, the people who don't bother to put them away when they're done using them, and leave them free to roam the parking lot and bash into cars, which I'm sure anyone reading this has already assumed has just happened to me. There is now a dent in my passenger door to match the one I got on Christmas at church on my drivers door. There was another one headed for a shiny new Lexus LS when I ran and kicked it over. I picked up and threw the one that hit my poor car. Does anyone know of any paintless dent removal places in South Jersey, and if so, about what it costs?

Yeah, that's a pet peeve of mine, too. Lazy asses. It's amazing the effort you can go to getting out of the way of stuff, and the goons will still get you.
Your dealer - any dealer, actually - should be able to recommend a PDR guy that they use on the lot. I used Dent Wizard, and they have franchises everywhere. My guys actually rotated through dealerships each week. It cost me $130 for a small dent on top of the fender. Dings I know were less, closer to $100, and they discounted multiple fixes. The back doors are more since they're aluminum. If the paint's OK, they're miracle workers.

WOW, I so feel where you are comming from. Two weeks before I got my 8, I was parked at the Jersey Gardens shoppingmall where I work. Everyday, I park my car at the very end of the row, this way no one can park on my left side, and I can give myself enough room on the right for no one to ding me. Even with all of that extra care taken, some dick came speeding down the road at 50 mph and hit a roaming shopping cart and sent it flying at an incredible speed into my mazdaspeed Protege. Boo for him driving like an idiot, and boo for the *** who left the shopping cart loose in the parking lot. Because of him, I ended up with a dent and gash in my rear drivers side door. I was sooo disgusted, I had to trade in the protege for the 8 :D But now Im even more paranoid.

Yeah I parked all the way out by myself so no one would hit me with door dings...and the damn carts got me!
I would have been safer parking in between cars...let them take the cart hit

until the day I die
I got a nasty scratch in my right front fender when I came out of Target (Washington Twp) and a cart was against my car! No wind, no slope...so someone had to send it on its merry way toward my 8! I kept looking around to see if anyone was snickering in the shadows of a nearby parked car. I wasnt happy.

i've noticed that when parking on the other side of cart corralls and such, my car didn't get hit...it only started to get scratched/dinged/etc when i parked far away. i think people fear the cart corral because they think the carts are going to randomly attack their car, or something to that effect...but it seems to work.
worked the same way with my mom's car when THAT was new, too.
