2009-Specific Forum

i think there should be a forum for stuff that applies only to 2009's. i think it would be beneficial to those that have the new generation.

Yes, a forum dedicated to the supremacy of the 09s over the previous year models would be nice

In all seriousness though, a SeriesII forum could be useful

It would be nice just to know what mods are available to s2. Or we can just talk about how s2 dominates the s1 at least it could redirect the rage from the oil debate.

Racing Beat and BHR have a lot of things that work with Both. Check with them, Japanparts has Body Kits etc.

i think it'd be good to start a whole section on 2009's now with subforums for electrical, engine, powertrain..etc etc.
that way instead of putting a whole array of questions about every part of the car into one tech forum. you could sub divide it and make it easier to search.

just yesterday a guy came into my buddy's accessory shop with speakers, subs, amps, box. his installer doesn't have a printout for 2009 wiring diagrams so i said lets search rx8club forums. we searched for a half hour without finding anything on a 2009 specific model. maybe because there isn't anything on here yet. but being able to search for something specific in a specific forum wouldn't bring up 1000 threads with similar words on different parts of the car

i think it would be extremely beneficial to those with the 09+ because they won't have to wade through our crap like beauge mentioned. and it would be beneficial to the 04-08 crowd because as more information and threads pile up about their model, it will be harder to find stuff about ours.

plus, it would be nice to keep their inferior stuff separate.

Well, the only supremacy I see in the 09+ models is the big, ugly mustache in the front and as if that wasn't enough, once you get into the car you gotta hold onto that really ugly steering wheel. I hope that mazda will come out with a nice mazdaspeed body kit to get rid of that mustache. Just a thought...............

I agree with Beauge though, it's a bit of pain to read a DIY, run out to the car, and find out you can't do it because it's different than previous year models

Thumbs up

I like the idea of a sub-forum for the 09+. It is a fantastic idea.

Thank you for taking the first step in developing this sub-division.
