Threads are getting replies but the "last poster" is never updated. End result is as far as "thread activity" is concerned there have been no new posts since about 1320 GMT-6 time.

Anyone else having this problem?

i was the only member on the forum about an hour ago. and my posts didnt update the recent post thingy. out of more than a million members i was the only one on. lol

 

Take a look at the members list (who' on line) on the forum list page.
During my time on here yesterday I was listed as the only member on line. It seems to be working all right now.

 

Just FYI, there were a lot of people on -- it just wasn't reporting properly.

 

Cache refresh is based on a timer...considering how loaded the servers are my money is that the hardware is in need of upgrading...

Why do people act like this is the first time this has happened??

 

I personally don't remember this happening before since I've been around. We've had maybe 3 instances where no one could post (database errors) so it had the same effect, but it was most definitely not the same thing as what happened a few days ago.

 

I always see instances of the site not refreshing to show the last/new posts. Maybe I'm on this board too much

 

these issues help the forum, cuz it causes some people to not go on as much anymore.

yea it really does bug me, but it makes me find something better to do that look through threads to see if there's a new post. lol

one thing that sucks though is that since you go on, theses posts that do not show won't show up as new posts (since last visit)

 

For several days straight? I'm on the board every day and I don't remember that.

 

It usually only occurs for like 5-10 minutes then things are back to normal...

 

here we go again.. and i disagree it seems to be about 6 hrs.
