Banner Blocking "New Post"drop down
This is the most annoying thing to have to bounce around to different sections till I can use the "New Threads" drop down. It hides behind certain banners. And is inaccessible.
Can you do something about it?

Only one that is doing it to me now is the K&N filter one and that's only on my laptop. Actually, you can just get to the "New Post" and be able to click it...........it just doesn't seem like you could, but you can.
At least it will get you off to another banner that works. Either that or hit refresh, but they should have the page edited so the drop down is always on top. Lazy programmers!
Actually.....on my desktop at home I have an ad blocker and I get none.

i hate to say it, but i might have to go back to banner free.. dont want to do it..
speaking of banners, why is it if the banners are supposed to rotate. the damn k@n one comes up 3 out of 4 times..
fix that, and i wont get rid of the banners!!!

we all know the K&N banner is causing issues but I just noticed that the new Chat banner is also busted. It blocks the new posts drop down AND the search functions.
How can we tell n00bies to search if it's not working?

Click on the "Start" button on your task bar.
Choose "Search" from the list.
Select "All Files and Folders" and type "hosts" (without the quotes) in the box, select Local Disk C: from the "Look In" menu and hit "Search".
When the Hosts file shows up, double-click on it and select NotePad when it asks you to choose a program to open it.
Once it is open, add this line to the very end of the file:
0.0.0.0 ad.doubleclick.net
Save the file, close and reopen your browser and, Voilá! No more banners.
