FAQ's

Judging by the number of threads from people posting for their first time and asking the same questions over and over about MPG, recalls, flooding, etc., the current FAQ is pretty ineffective. It seems to be geared toward the people who were originally waiting for the 8 to be released (come on, the press kit is in there... wtf) and pretty much basic info about rotary engines. Pretty much useless to a guy who wanders in looking to buy an 8 and wanting to know some stuff. zoom44's FAQ-Update thread is a good start, but it's kind of hard to find and includes some stuff that's kind of irrelevant. I think we need a more visible, organized, and relevant FAQ to prevent the "Looking to buy an 8, want some info) threads over and over.

hmmm . . . goes along with what I was just thinking/working on.

so - BUMP!!

The addendum to this is the "forum rules of conduct" page. I was looking around for the rule about 'no kills' and had difficulty finding it. I know I read it when I first joined by going thru stickies, but it seems like the only way to get to the conduct rules is thru RG's link here- a sticky in the lounge. So effectively, we have a link from a lounge sticky that takes us to this page that I can't seem to get to from anywhere else.

Maybe have Charlie's FAQ Update, the Rules of Conduct, and some kind of post/note about MPG, HP, Synth/dyno type threads attached?

Obviously the red font and potential thread name/link could be anything.
Could we perhaps do a can't miss, as-close-to-noob-proof link such as this:
