2010 Prius - Miss the 8
Not sure why the change if the skins and other features weren't implemented yet. Why not just wait until there are other options to go along with this version of the board before changing it?

It's just like how a lot of people mod their cars. You install them piecemeal. It's easier on the pocketbook and to diagnose problems.
And their supposed to be working on the New Posts button, maybe tomorrow.

how do i change my viewing preferences? i cant find anything in my user c/p
i dont like the emphesis on the avatar, it makes takes away focus from the thread and even the username. functionality may have been improved, but the aesthetics have taken a big hit

With any change, people are going to ask What's in it for me?. Speaking for myself, I see no benefit from the recent upgrades.
Change for its own sake is unacceptable. I assume that there was good reason for these changes and we should all do our best to adapt.

OMG !!! get over it,,
change is good. dont be such a stick in the mud. the folks that keep this site up work very hard to do so !!! show them some respect !
It will get better 1. as you learn the new board, 2 as they finish there upgrades.
Next time theres a new flash for the 8 you just tell your dealer that you dont like change and dont want your 8 to run better :P

Alright guys... I re-added the "plasma" theme. It's the same one that RX-8 club had before the switch (Dark blue one). The only thing that is different is the logo and menu bar. I didn't want to deal with having to remake them at this time... hope this helps.
You can switch themes in your User Control Panel under "Edit Options" - It's at the end of the page.

Wrong. Change (like handguns) is neither good nor bad, it all depends on the way it's used. Changes that fix problems or make things work better are good. Changes done only to keep up with the Jones' or simply to be "cutting edge" are bad.
When I get my 8, I won't run out and get every flash as soon as it comes out. If I'm having problems, of course I'd get the flash; if not I'll wait and see what effects come from the new flash. I've seen too many patches [cough] Microsoft [/cough] to jump on the bandwagon without thinking.
HeTz, Good Job! I never meant anything personal.

OK. Now that I've had a chance to get used to the newbies I must say I like it.
One issue I have (and maybe it's being looked at) is the new system is a lot slower than the old one. Other than that, keep up the good work and thanks for your continue support.
