Who needs a kill section when we know our 8s can take any car on the road (as long as said car is not moving at the time).

I guess my little rant sparked a fire storm...heh....while i do not EVER do the speed limit (only 5 or so over...heh) i do not like the street racing thing either it is not safe and could get me and everyone around me killed. as far as the 8 owners being snobbish...i guess i have run into quite a few bad apples....but like i have stated before i do not dislike 8 owners i hope to be one in the near future. also about the 7 owners being cocky....yea to honduh owners...heh....i have even taken some of my brothers friends for rides in my 7, just because they liked my car. i do know of some snobbish 7 owners but we are just like everyone on this forum we love rotarys!! and anyone who dosent like it can eat my fire breathing 7's a**!!

A "race" is a contest. Contests require more than one participant. I'm sorry, but by your rationale, anyone who's ever passed another car or tried to get someplace in a hurry is racing... and that's just dumb. The day someone here gets a ticket for taking a turn a little quickly (but under the speed limit), I'll gladly admit you were right... but that day will never come.

Driving fast is driving fast. It's stupid and dangerous.
Racing is 2 or more cars trying to drive faster than each other. It's more stupid and more dangerous.

 

There's no point in having a kills thread. With the exception of Mazsport RX-8's or 20B RX-8's, they aren't fast enough to kill anything but family sedans anyway. It makes sense to have one on rx7club because 7's are much faster.

 

First of all there is such a thing as racing against time or one's self. Second of all it's not taking a turn too fast that gets you a ticket as much as wiping out and killing someone that ends you in jail and ruins peoples lives.
