i miss seeing how many New Posts there were since my last visit and having the link right there to click to see threads with New Posts

 

Why don't you just press the New Posts link on the grey bar

Edit: Sorry, Just processed what you said. You have the check the count after you click; it's down at the bottom right of the page

 

I agree. I too missed the new posts item in the wecome window. If I hadn't stumbled upon this thread, I would have thought this feature had been eliminated. You might want to make it a little more obvious, or send out an email to all subscribers explaining the new location.
Just a thought.

i know theres the link to New Posts, but it was nice to have the link as well as a count on every page i visited of the number of new posts. i can live without it, but if its possible to put it back and isnt too much trouble..

 

This and many other things are on my 'slow-as-molasses' developers to-do list.
