I think in the parts for sale section once a deal goes through there should be a sub category that goes into.. it would make things a lot easier

 

This goes on the same lines so i decided to put my suggestion in this thread instead of making a new one.

Is there any way to flag for sale items as to the current situation of the sale.

For sale
Sold
pending

I say this because there are so many for sale items and its difficult to wade through tons of threads only to find out you wasted all that time on items that have been sold for days. This would also help people find items that are still available but haven't been commented on in awhile.

How hard/time consuming would this be?

How does Vbulletin work with itself to customize?

Maybe we can implement a string policy using the icons if you are able to change them after you post a thread. Maybe the rating system could be used in a certain way. Or just tell people to put a keyword in the title once the situation changes

 

I think it depends on who posts the things for sale. I have seen some people that edit the original post with "SOLD" or "PENDING SALE" Seems to work out really well if people actually do it.

 

I like the way the miata forum's classified section works. It's broken down by interior, exterior, wheels, engine, exhaust, high performance, etc. It also only lists items which are still for sale.
