Search Member name by location

It is very hard for me to organise cruise if I don't know which member in rx8club is where. Some indicate their location and have meet before. I am going by my memory most of the time.

I suggest that in search memeber function that enable be to find the ones that listed their location, say Australia. Then I could recognise who is in Melbourne.

Thanks

To do it properly, the admin might need to send an email to each member (10,000 of them) to tell them what to write so people can search efficently. I think so far people are doing well.

Some people leave it blank and i think it is fair enough too.

The only problem wiht this is that it can open members up to unwanted pms, etc. Just because they have listed their location doesn't mean they want to be invited and/or called out to participate in something. This was part of the thinking behind having the regional forums- that way, people who ARE interested in getting together for meets, etc, have a place to post where information can be easily found with regional/country information.

that is fair enough, too.

However, there are some member that would like to hear news about a cruise or meet and did not know about it until I PMed them.

I guess it is their choice to check the regional forum regularly.
