Series 2 Title confusion

Suggestion to change the forum title of S2 from 2009- to 2009-2011.

Since we know that 2011 is last production year. The negative sign I think was
trippin out noobs that don't know about how Mazda does series revisions.

Im aware that some nuubs will still fail.

Shouldn't this be posted in the Series II section?

It would just be enough to remove the S2 forums completely and just make prefixes like for the wtb section. S1, S2 prefix before a thread and you're good to go.

Great idea. And 86 the "MY" next to 2009. We know it refers to the year.

bse has a good idea but i font think it can work just yet, too many people would just skip the pre-fix.

the MY is necessary for folks outside the US

Thanks
The prefix would be a matter of habit, in the end many s1 users are posting in the s2 forums for the very same laziness to see where they are

actually, someone pointed out to me some time ago that each of the forum titles should have S2 as part of the title. many people do not navigate the forum by scrolling down to see which heading something is under but by looking at the new posts. its also very easy to scroll right past a header and click the wrong section. I will get off my bum and change the forum titles to make it a little easier.

S2 or SII ?

I would just change the title so it doesnt read exactly the same as S1...get rid of the "tech and performance" segment in series II forum, and give it a different color. Just make it appear different than the S1 forum.

S2 (Second Generation), (US2009MY-) RX8 Forums.....or something with a diff color.

Maybe that will keep more S1 noobs outta the forum!
