Signature mod
:NOTE: this is not because I'm bitter that my signature was removed. ha
If, as expressed to me, signatures greater than 20kb or 6 lines are such a terror to people on dial-up, then I propose I be a signature mod. There are dozens of sigs that are greater than 20kb, it's blatantly obvious, but they're still there. If you elect me, I'll clean up this town for you dial-upers.

Here's my deal, and call me selfish. I understand the dimension limit. I hate forums that have a one line post then a one page signature with pictures of the person car, dog, gf, vacation, and a description of all the cars he's ever owned, his family has owned, and all the mods to them. But, the size limit on the files annoys me. if they're hosted on a different server, which they have to be for a sig, who cares. Screw dialupers man, welcome to the new milenium. If it makes it that slow for you, then click the little box in your user cp menu that sets the option not to show others signatures and stop holding the rest of the forum back.

There are many people that use dial-up due to technology limitations. Not all cable tv systems my support broadband. DSL has limitations due to distance to the central office. I can't get the cheaper DSL due to this. Satellite is expensive. I use cable broadband.
My sig is only a couple of lines and I only put it up when I think it would be appropiate for the situation.

I do have a little bit to large siggy, but I try not to over use it. once per thread is enough... sometimes I dont even insert it into a thread if I see no need.... Like this one. (this one would just get me in trouble.) (as I stab myself in the foot)

Now that I've got 8Mb pipe, guess what - I still have sigs off! Too much junk.

Why is this thread still alive? BlueEyes and "Mod" will never go in the same sentence.
