Yeah, same here. I jumped from one to the other and got served.

Why doesn't the admin care about this? He seems to be all on it with the 7Club.

I found that as annoying as the spam messages...

I have a possible solution that I am going to implement on MNRX8club before I recommend it to see how it does. From what I have heard it has kept a forum spam free for 6 months now. We get about 25 spam users signing up each week now. and some of the posts that they kick up make MM's avatars look like something that happens at church.

All they have to do is turn off the ability to post new threads on new accounts for a few days.
These SPAM bots don't come back. They just sign up and hit it. If they can't play, they'll go away.

i think that really would work but wouldnt that deter some new people from posting? there are a good amount of people who want to come in to ask one question real quick.

its hard to find a balance. but im happy as long as its not another damn 25 character limit

Honestly, we don't really want those people, either.
If you have a question, you should be forced to search for a few days.
I was on this forum for a month before I ever posted and probably several months before I started a new thread.

We could have a "Newb" sub-forum where you can post ad lib and those impatient folks can battle with the SPAMmers for our attention.

a mod should shut down that thread until the person can produce evidence of the products TO the moderator.

Captcha for the first 5 posts...

May not kill them all, but it would produce a dramatic reduction...

Principle is basically to make it inconvenient...the more inconvenient the more likely they will go elsewhere for an easier target...

Similar to robbing a bank...
