I know this has probably been covered already, I just dont want to do a freakin search to find it!!!!!! This search system sucks. I dont know whats going on, but It wont find results.

DSC- nothing
13B- nothing
oil- nothing
20B- nothing
Traction control- nothing

what is going on with this?

 

well first of all, all of them but the last are only 3 letters which the vbulletin system cant do.

second you're being to vague. oil? do you know how many times someone has typed the word oil in the 6 years this forum has existed? try being a little more specific.

the same really applies to traction control. if you just type traction control in the search box with "show threads" clicked it'll return this

go into adanced make a few choices. for instance

i went in to advanced typed traction conrol then under that in the drop down box chose "thread titles" then i moved down and chose "6 months and newer" and "show threads". that gave me 4 results

I think you should put those search tutorial/tips in a sticky...

But I didnt know that vbulletin can't handle 3 letter searches...
