I have 48g of video I will be uploading to the FTP tomorrow

 

Not everyone has access to the ftp (that user has write privileges to that folder and I don't like the idea of making the details publicly available)

I'm going to create links on the site for people to use to download what they want. These links don't rely on SQL etc so the only thing they need is the website being "active" (aka can get to it from the web) which it currently is.

Also given the clip you've already got up there I've already got an idea for a video for another video. Depending on the segments that I can get from Highspeed and possibly 987 or Creto it might be better.

 

I was wondering how I was going to view the vids Why don't you guys edit them and post them on youtube?

As long as nobody has vehicle speeds (Via OBDII Port) tagged in the video, I am golden.

Edit* There might be cheaper cameras like it, or even a way to tap into the go pro with some type of scan gauge or something like that.

 

really???? started premixxing the new engine and my wife's new engine... about 6oz per tank and our mileage increased


on the trip up to tulsa, she averaged 23-24 mpg, i averaged 21-22 there and back

I tried really hard to get the timing right, going frame by frame till I thought it was close enough. So be kind

(disclaimer, its currently 10:51 and the video has about another 300 minutes to upload + process so I'd wait till tomorrow morning sometime to view it)

Lord ET actually had more footage than me but I was having alot of camera issues that day with "buffer overflows" most of the last part of that leg was the end anyway so I didnt worry about it. If people want/care I will go back and edit in the rest of my footage later.

 

I could always mount my scangauge on the dash next time so the camera gets the speed and all that on camera while filming

Yeah, I think the upload got nuked when the computer went into hibernate/sleep. I'm getting Jen to reupload the video and hopefully it wont take as long since its already started and youtube recovers failed downloads now. (wonder how much bandwidth that saved them)
