Not sure if I'm interrupting a forum convo but wanted to post that I plan on being at the Texas8, staying at the hotel, +1. (Will post an update when I book the room as requested on the first post)...

Lol, it was a few years ago, 12 lbs was a little too much. It was before I owned it and my mechanic thought it was fine with the stock fuel system. Hah. That motor went bye bye. I'm good now though, threw in a DeatschWerks fuel pump and some big ole 1000cc Injectors and I'm good to go!

For the first time...yes. Unless someone wants me to ride. Cuz I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little...nervous? I haven't cruised since our Valentine's weekend cruise in 2009 and the car needs a LOT of stuff done to it.

Since I completely asked for all that (yet somehow still didn't see it coming), allow me to rephrase my response to bring it up to rx8club standards:
*AHEM*
Uuhh....YEAH I'll be driving my own car. If that's what you wanna call it. I prefer the phrases "owning that b%&#!" (referring to the roads) by "owning MY b%&#!" (referring to my 8).
Love you guys

Bald tires are the main concern. Lack of handling mods would be ideal, at least springs! But mostly tires. Ok, totally tires. I've done some stupid crap on bald tires with the steel belt showing but even this trip is too much of a stretch for me on these. :/
Low compression and broken everything is probably also an issue but I disregard things like that, just turn the radio up louder (or rev harder). J/k...kind of...

Seeeee she was able to translate!! There's only so much acetone one man can inhale in a day before he loses all his brain cells.
Yea... I wouldn't even dream of going if I didn't have new rubber. I'm sure there is someone with stock tires sitting around that could hook you up though!!
