Talking TurboXS RX-8 Catback Exhaust w/ Free Racepipe $499

TurboXS RX-8 Catback Deal

The Re- Introduction
TurboXS would like to kick off our new vender membership with an awesome Introductory Price on our Full Exhaust System for the RX-8. They are now back instock, so we are packaging them up with a Free Racepipe for the Power Hungry RX-8 Owners. All for $499 plus shipping!

The Exhaust
TurboXS RX8 Cat-Back is a high performance 304 Stainless steel solution providing increased flow without the annoying drone associated with performance exhaust systems. This is due to the Tuned chambers and vehicle specific muffler materials. Exhaust gases exit through dual 4.0 inch tips to unleash the beast within on your RX-8.

The Revisions
-We have changed the Tips to a slash cut style which accentuates the lines of the rear bumper fascia.
-Tips were also extended to reduce hot spot when used with the racepipe
-All pipes were polished to a mirror like show car finish.

The Gains – Catback ONLY
On the dyno we record typically a 13 hp gain, from the Catback alone .

The Gains – Catback + Racepipe
If you decide to use the race pipe together with the catback you will see a 24 whp gain and a 8 ft. lbs gain. Take a look below!

Man I wish the racepipe would have come with mine. I waited 2.5 mnths for the new exhaust. I will say that I do love the sound and the look of it. The welding on the exhaust was flawless. Beautiful work

A 6% gain in torque and a 12% gain in horsepower for $500 bucks......that is less than $21 per 1 horsepower gain........if the car had no other mods, that seems more than reasonable for $500 bucks....

true, but anyone who has been paying attention for the last few years knows that 13/24 hp gains are ridiculous for catback/midpie-catback combo.

that being said, I love the turboXS exhaust, one of the best sounds out there, $500, and excellent craftsmanship.

nice. I had to pay extra for a shop to install SLP tips on my turboxs exhaust.

Bang for the buck this is the best exhaust system for the RX-8.

My only "complaint" is that noobs hear "turbo xs" and think they need a turbo to use it.

Decent price & quality... really like the sound as well. I have one of the old design ones. My only complaint is that after I tried contacting the company on the tips melting the bumper, I got more or less no response after several attempts.

Are you using the mid/racepipe? What does it sound like in the car at 70 - 80 mph? I have a Borla on my Miata and it is loud at 70-80 mph with top up and tough to use a cell phone because of the exhaust noise. Thanks for the feedback!

I'm with you - on my meager budget, this exhaust is especially appealing, but I'm worried about the noise. Never heard one in person, but clips online sound good. My concern is that it may get irksome with daily use or drone on the freeway. Anyone care to comment?

Also, how does ground clearance with this exhaust compare to the stock cat and muffler?
