TurboXS RX-8 Catback Exhaust w/ Free Racepipe $499
#276
Expected arrival date is still about the end of the month. Still dont' have the arrival notice from the shipping company so I don't have an exact date. Single resonated racepipes are still $499 plus shipping. We do not have ETA on the dual resonated racepipes approximate arrival will be in 1st quarter 2011.
2009+ RX8 will need a rubber hanger modification. We havent' have a new model in stock so I cannot give you instructions but a fellow member gave this information. I'll check with him to get the part number needed to install the exhaust.

I put this exhaust on my 2010 R3. It bolts on nicely however I did have to change the hangers back by the mufflers....2.99 ea at Autozone, you will need 4 of them of course....if you need a part number just let me know, I work at Autozone so I can look that up for you.......Enjoy, I do.....

Does anyone know if this exhaust will fit in the back seats of the RX8 (without box)? I would need to get a mechanic to do the install, and it would suck if I had to rent a separate truck to transport it.

The only problem is that I have sub that is custom fitted in the trunk which is blocking that hole. It would a major pain to remove and re-install the sub. Need to know if it will fit in the back-seat area.

Nevermind, it fits perfectly in the back seat area
And there's plenty of room left for the other two pipes.
This looks pretty simple to install, I just might do it myself. Has a DIY been done on this?

I just got mine and was working on installing just the cat back since I have to get emissions tested ... then will put the full exhaust on. That supplied donut gasked is totally inadequate for use with the factory cat. It doesn't look like much thought was put into fitting if someone just uses the cat back, either the flange or the factory studs will have to be ground down as well to make it fit.
