Anyways, can you ship to the UK? As I'm looking for somewhere to get one from. K&N UK aren't expecting supply for 6 weeks+ ......

Yep, we accept credit card. They are due for delivery around 1-16-04 for the red and silver. The polished and blue will be either the end of Jan or middle of Feb. The delay for polished and blue are due to the two most popular colors and the polished takes the longest to produce because of the polishing process. For those who want the blue or polished we'll still take your order at the aggreed price and ship it out to you when we get in in stock.

The stock engine cover can be reused as the kit comes with a bracket for mounting. The stock air box doesn't have a cover. The out side shape of it matches the rest of the engine clading. You can fabricate your own cover if you desire.

Vivid,
What I'll do then is get a friend in the US to buy it from you and they can bring it over for me (as they're coming over here in a couple of weeks). Will save me on shipping and any taxes. Is that ok with you and will the $190 price still be applicable in this case?

As all good things come to and end so does the price. As of today 1-19-04 the price goes back to retail. $199.99. Sorry folks, if you let this deal pass you buy. We have more arriving at the retail price. Our thanks to all those that got in on the first batch.

Sound Clips
Huff,
Thanks for setting us up with the intakes for an excellent price!
my10ae, RPIRX8, and myself got together over the weekend to hang out and install our new intakes. After the installs it was interesting to note that each car had a unique sound. my10ae's auto had a deeper/mellow sound that started just above idle, RPIRX8's 6-spd was a little higher pitched and sounded like it meant business when the fresh air duct opened at 5,500 RPMs, and the Borla exhaust on mine added an underlying growl. Very cool!!! :D
I recorded a few sound clips of each car and edited them all into one file. If you like it, feel free to use it on your website.
